The Second Half Of The Mountain

You've been told to find your soul, discover your truth, follow your bliss, manifest your heart out, have your healings and attend this and that workshop... and yet you're still not getting to where you want to be. Maybe you're stuck, poor, unhealthy, single (or married), lost...and frustrated with it. (NOTE: *Being stuck, poor, unhealthy, single/married or lost isn't a problem unless you are truly discontent about it). The truth is, any path can take you half way up the mountain, and no path can take you up the second half. Yet there are signs and lamp posts! This course will help you unburdening yourself of yourself so that you can lighten your load and let your True Self take over the driving. Individual topics may include... Authenticity In A Nutshell; Discipline Isn't What You Think; What You Know That You Don't Know You Know; Why~ Exactly~Less Is More; How To Get The Butterflies To Chase YOU; Ancient Poetry For Scoffers; and others.

Piercing The Heart Of The World:
Dynamic Teachings In Alchemy, Taoism, And Inevitable Grace

You're done with the small stuff. You're hungry for what is real. What is true. What is beautiful (even if on the surface it is ugly). The beaten path ran out, and that was a while ago. Genuine fellow travelers seem few and far between. Your Karma ran over your Dogma and the thread to your sanity sometimes feels as if it is running bare. You're ready to reach high, as high as you can, and skirt the edges, too. You want to know what the Old Ones (that would be you, from before) have to say about it. You want to ponder the great realizations of the Alchemists, the Taoists, the Mystics... You're not afraid, you're ravenous for the "more" there is to know. We'll gather to study and experience and ponder together. I'll carry the torch to take you as far up the mountain and into the cave as I've gone... and of course, you'll go further.

Online Logistics:

All courses are offered online through your computer at webex.com.. You will be provided a direct link which offers audio and video and you simply log on to join the class. You will need a microphone to participate, but a camera is optional. Each class will be recorded in audio and video and be available for viewing any time of day through the full duration of the course and up to two weeks after. You will also want a facebook account for our discussion groups and to access the homework videos as each of the three courses offered will have their own dedicated discussion group page. Easy, detailed explanations will be provided, and webex.com has excellent 24/7 support for anyone having trouble.

Homework & Videos:

Each course will offer more than the weekly 75 minutes online. We have suggested homework and reading, youtube videos (made by Robin and others), and an online discussion group. You can put in as much or as little as works for you. A "tribe" will form from the class members and this is a richly rewarding part of the course.

Download Option:

It is possible to download the course video at time other than the meeting time and still participate in the discussion groups. This is offered to those from whom the meeting time conflicts with time zone or other issues. However, if you choose this option, when you register please let me know you are planning on not being present for the online class in real time (so we don't look for you).

Please check for specific Fall 2010 offerings in mid-August.
